Nearly two years in the making, we are proud to unveil the Ram’s Gate silk scarf, a limited-edition creation that brings the story of our Estate to life in silk. Created and designed by Olivia Cleary, founder of Clearly Collective and a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree, the design draws from the architecture, vineyards, and distinctive details that define Ram’s Gate. More than an accessory, the scarf is an expression of place, craftsmanship, and the many inspirations that make Ram’s Gate uniquely our own.
The sheep featured in the design reflect our commitment to regenerative farming and the role they play in the health of our Estate. As they graze among the vines, they naturally enrich the soil, support biodiversity, and contribute to a more balanced vineyard ecosystem. Their presence represents our belief that great wine begins with a healthy vineyard, and that caring for the land means working in harmony with nature to ensure it thrives for generations to come.
For Founder and Proprietor Jeff O’Neill, a passion for automobiles reflects a deep appreciation for precision, design, and craftsmanship, values that are equally central to the Ram’s Gate experience. With views of Sonoma Raceway from the Estate’s tasting room patio, the racetrack serves as a distinctive part of the surrounding landscape and a natural point of connection to Jeff’s passion for motorsport, inspiring this design.
The next layer of the design reflects our commitment to exceptional winemaking at Ram’s Gate, where each wine begins with a deep connection to our Estate and the land that surrounds it. Under the guidance of Winemaker Joe Nielsen, thoughtful vineyard practices and careful craftsmanship in the cellar bring the unique qualities of each site and vintage to life. Guided by a philosophy of minimal intervention and respect for the land, our winemaking approach allows the natural character of the vineyards to take center stage.
The innermost layer of the design on this piece celebrates the culinary artistry of Ram’s Gate, where seasonal ingredients, thoughtful preparation, and deep connection to place shape the experience at the table. Under the direction of Chef Kim Cosway, both the Equinox tasting experience and à la carte menu draw inspiration from Sonoma’s seasonal bounty, showcasing the region’s rich agricultural landscape through dishes that evolve with the seasons.
